I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Bentley University, where I have been since 2003. My research interests include many issues in Behavioral Economics and education policy. I typically use lab and/or field experiments to study these issues.
My recent work, Measuring Success in Education: The Role of Effort on the Test Itself (with Uri Gneezy, John List, Xiangdong Qin, Sally Sadoff, and Yang Xu) examines how the level of intrinsic motivation to perform on low-stakes standardized tests varies across countries.
